About Me

I am a research assistant at UCD, Dublin and at the same time studying for a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the HKUST, Hong Kong. My work is on general purpose disk-based indexes that enable applications to handle large amount of data without overloading the RAM. This allows applications to be deployed across many systems (e.g., mobile devices, cloud servers, containers etc.) with minimal overhead. During my M.Sc. studies, I developed machine learning protocols for federated systems in Python, and crowdsensing mechanisms for blockchain and mobile devices on Ethereum and Android. The projects I am currently working on are implemented in Rust and C++.
